Teaching Persuasive Writing with Structured, Evidence-Based Lessons

Join us for a webinar focused on English Writing Years F-6, Persuasive (Civics), Unit 2, a dynamic cross-curricular program that fosters students' abilities to construct and present persuasive arguments on important civics topics. This session will guide educators through the program's key components, which enhance students' skills in expressing their opinions and engaging in constructive debates.

Lessons are taught using the "I Do, We Do, You Do" approach, where the teacher models, guides, and allows students to independently apply their learning to construct persuasive arguments on civics and citizenship topics.

Discover how Unit 2, Persuasive (Civics), empowers students to think critically about social issues, advocate for positive change, and develop a strong sense of civic responsibility. Educators will leave this session with practical strategies to successfully implement the program in the classroom, empowering students to contribute meaningfully to their communities and society.
